DESCRIPTION:This international, CPD certified conference will assemble some of the world's most highly respected professionals working in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery today.\n\n2022 will be the seventh edition of London Breast Meeting, and the programme will focus on The Art and Science of Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Oncologic Breast Surgery. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of national and international surgeons who will share their expertise and surgical tips and tricks.\n\nAll the sessions will be live-streamed online for those who can't attend in London.\n\nThe programme has been organised by Co-Chairs, Professor Jian Farhadi, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London and Professor Jaume Masia, Chief of Plastic Surgery Department, Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona, and Scientific Chair, Ms Marlene See, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.\n\nThe scientific programme will include a variety of sessions for the Faculty to share their expertise, including best practice updates, keynote addresses, surgical technique videos, interactive case presentations and roundtable discussions and debates.\n\nSession topics will include:\n\nOncology surgery\nBreast sarcoma and angiosarcoma\nPreservation of sensation in mastectomy\nALCL and BIAL\nImplant reconstruction\nMicrosurgery and oncoplastics\nThe biodynamics of the breast\nMesh vs glandular flaps\nBiological breast augmentation\nComposite vs dual plane discussion\nReduction and mastopexy\nLipofilling and fat banking\n\n
