About me:

After completing medical school and his PhD in Hamburg / Germany, Mr Schumacher joined the basic surgical training scheme in Merseyside in 1998 and completed his higher plastic surgery training in the Cambridge and East Anglia in 2011. He had further subspecialty training on fellowships in breast and head & neck surgery in St Andrews / Chelmsford and the Royal Marsden Hospital / London. Past NHS positions include his position as Director of Head & Neck Services and as Director of Private Healthcare, as Clinical Lead in Plastic Surgery and as Surgical Specialty Lead for Surgery for the Eastern Region for the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). His private practice is focussed on cosmetic breast and head and neck surgery.
