Alice Lacey is an Associate in the medical and life sciences team at RPC LLP.
Alice has extensive experience in defending medical malpractice claims, spanning a diverse range of medical disciplines and healthcare claims issues.
Alice acts for a number of medical malpractice and life science insurers, along with individual clinicians, private hospitals, and clinics. She has specific expertise in defending claims concerning aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, in addition to high value orthopaedic claims and ophthalmic treatment. Alice also provides policy coverage advice to insurers and regularly delivers training and presentations to a variety of clients in the healthcare and insurance sectors.
Dr Ronnie Tan is a dual qualified medical doctor and lawyer.
He read Medicine at The University of Manchester and completed the Foundation Programme at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust before undertaking his legal studies at The University of Law. He has worked exclusively in medical malpractice since qualifying as a lawyer, for both claimant and defendant firms, as well as at Medical Protection and DWF Claims before joining Incision Indemnity’s medico-legal support team.
Keen on continuing professional education, Ronnie has completed a Masters in Medical Law, has prepared webcasts, written case studies, and has provided internal and external training on clinical negligence claims. He is also embarking on further qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
