On behalf of Johnson & Johnson and Mentor®, we are proud to announce a 1-day UK based aesthetic breast surgery symposium, which will be held January 10th 2020 at the Leeds Marriott hotel.
Within the breast implant market there are increasing discussions, debates and concerns around implant surfaces and patient safety. This program will discuss current industry data, trends and clinical perspectives. Organised as 4 sessions within 1 day the key topics are:
• Regulatory and safety updates, including BIA-ALCL and BII.
• Private practice management (including utilising social media)
• Principles of planning in breast augmentation including
o Implant selection
o Practical session with live models
• Surgical technique
o Revision surgery and complex cases
o Using Smooth Implants
Participants are encouraged to debate current topics and concerns regarding breast implants and patient safety. Each surgeon is welcome to bring in a complicated case in aesthetic to share with colleagues and our faculty:
