About me:

I am a UK trained FRCS (Plast) Consultant Plastic Surgeon on the GMC specialist register, having trained in units including Canniesburn, Nottingham, Bristol and throughout the Yorkshire deanery. I have completed a prestigious, nationally appointed Training Interface Group (TIG) fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in Norwich, a Paediatric Craniofacial Fellowship at the world renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital and a BAAPS Mentorship Aesthetic Fellowship at The Weymouth hospital on Harley Street, London.

I am a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Head and Neck Oncology (BAHNO), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the UK Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (UKAPPS-CAPSCO).

I am a passionate advocate for training, and was awarded membership of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of Edinburgh having demonstrated my ability to train and educate future generations of surgeons. I have authored over 24 peer reviewed publications and presented widely nationally and internationally, and was honoured to be amongst the first group to receive the Oracle Cancer Trust Peter Rhys Evans Travelling Scholarship in 2023.

I am a substantive Consultant in Paediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital where I specialise in general paediatrics, microtia and ear reconstruction, head and neck vascular malformations, paediatric skull base surgery, complex sarcoma and spinal reconstruction and microsurgery.
