About me:

I have over 20 years’ experience in the field of Plastic Surgery. My early career began in Dublin in 2000, where I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I continued my training at the Imperial College London where I obtained an MSc and diploma in Surgery in 2003. I have joined the Newcastle Trust as a trainee in 2003 and progressed through the Plastic Surgery national training program to complete my specialist higher surgical training. This culminated in a prestigious Training Interface Group Fellowship in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in Sheffield NHS and Private Hospitals. I am a dual certified fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK and Ireland, as well as a fellow of the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS). I have been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon since 2012.

My interest in Cosmetic surgery developed over many years of training;I have received 4 months of training in interface group fellowship in cosmetic reconstructive surgery in 2009 at Sheffield’s NHS and independent practice hospitals. I am on the general medical council specialist register as a plastic surgeon, I am a full member of the British association of plastics reconstructive an aesthetic surgeons (BAPRAS), and  I am a full member of British association of aesthetic plastic surgeons BAAPS and certified Cosmetic Surgeon. 

Personally, I have performed a wide range of Breast rejuvenation surgery procedures at both NHS and private practice (Mastopexy, Reduction Mammoplasty, breast augmentation, removal of breast implants / capsulectomies, symmetrising procedures and lipo-moudling) and male breast surgery to correct Gynaecomastia.

I also performed body contouring surgery following massive weight loss or as a result of previous multiple pregnancies or unsatisfactory caesarean section scars, arm reduction and abdominoplasty, liposuction and fat grafting for augmentation or correction of contour deformities.

Facial rejuvenation surgery including eyelid rejuvenation and reconstructive  surgery, facelift, Rhinoplasty, ear reconstruction and prominent ears correction.
